Lane – Kai Ola’s Head Chef.
With history in North County San Diego, launching several successful restaurants, and also as a private chef for A-list celebrities – Kai Ola’s Head Chef started in Oceanside launching Kaisen, a North County San Diego local’s favorite. With business booming, Kaisen opened a 2nd location – also in Oceanside.
His expertise in sushi creation, gave Lane the opportunity to launch another sushi restaurant internationally, in Russia!
Fast forward to today – Lane is introducing his Hawaiian influenced Japanese style of sushi to Leucadia, Encinitas.
Dave – Kai Ola’s Sous-Chef.
Dave grew up surrounded by the sushi industry, as both his parents were chefs. His training is unique, after spending several years crafting sushi under world renown Iron Chef – Morimoto.
Dave has made a name for himself in the sushi world. Crafting his sushi frequently with Lane, to continue learning, while bringing his own unique style of sushi to Leucadia, Encinitas.
